MY STORY

Hello fellow streamers and motorsport lovers,

I created M1 Racing a number of years ago as a Twitch channel to provide commentary to a friends' online F1 league. At the time all I had was a life-long passion for F1, but absolutely no idea about streaming or commentary. It was really daunting trying to navigate different streaming tools, collect the research ahead of every race and then deliver a professional stream to my audience. In the early years, it was difficult. I wasn't happy with my audio, the stream content was very basic and it took hours to prepare for every race.

However, after delivering hundreds of streams (even to the point of commentating whilst racing - try that if you want a challenge!) I realized I was building a huge library of useful tools, backgrounds, overlays, music and commentary notes, which were developing in to a reliable, repeatable ecosystem.

F1 COMMENTATOR'S NOTEBOOK

This is a truly unique item. I have invested literally hundreds of hours over the years researching tracks ahead of every stream. Key track data, past historical moments, expected tyre strategies, key overtaking points and so much more. The best commentators are super-prepared and all the information they need at their fingertips to deliver a confident, informative and exciting voiceover.

But that research consumes huge amounts of time. We then have to structure it in some kind of easily accessible format so we're not scrabbling through pages and pages of notes in the middle of a race.

After a couple of years of commentating I found I was developing a reliable format for my notes that would fit on one page of paper. I gradually repeated this approach for every track and the Commentators Notebook was born.

2D TRACK MAPS COLLECTION

2025 & 2026 F1 Seasons

Track maps are a really cool addition to any race stream. They provide a great visual tool to set the tone of your stream and build anticipation ahead of the race start.

We could grab track maps from the Internet, but that means navigating a website during our stream, which doesn't look professional. We also run the risk of copyright strikes using unlicensed or third party material.

You won't have those issues with my hand-crafted 2D Track Maps. They all have transparent backgrounds so you can overlay them on top of your favourite stream backgrounds.

If you're streaming the F1 25 game or older, you get all 24 Track Maps with the DRS Zones clearly shown. You are also set for the F1 2026 season with all maps updated with DRS removed and the new MADRING circuit included.
